We are Sekou & Cherrice – a husband and wife photography team based in Houston & Austin, Texas. We specialize in telling romantic stories of couples in love, be it weddings or lifestyle photography.  Although both creatives (Sekou is a writer/poet and Cherrice is a graphic designer), photography became a passion of ours a little over two years ago. However, we like to believe God was honing our skills to creatively photograph couples long before we got behind the camera. We dated for 4 amazing years before getting married in 2013. Being together for over 10 years has taught us to remember to spoil each other, never stop dating, cherish each moment together……….and the value of team work.  

Our true passion isn’t so much photography as it is helping couples tell their love story. Because, we get it. As a couple that is crazy in love ourselves, we can identify with many of the couples we photograph. We know both the stress and excitement of planning a wedding. And we know the bliss and relief of a wedding day. We know the happiness that comes from becoming pregnant and then the joy of welcoming that little bundle of joy into the world. And we also, can relate to the happiness of celebrating milestones, be it anniversaries or your child’s birthday. The journey of love is truly something for the storybooks and we want dibs on traveling on that adventure with you.  

So just think of us as going on cool double date. We are photographers who happen to be madly in love working with madly in love couples. It’s a Win Win and true match made in heaven.
